The Peñín Guide, Spain’s most comprehensive and prestigious wine guide, has evaluated over 9,800 wines from 2,000 wineries across all wine regions of Spain. Pares Baltà wines are among the best in the guide, scoring over 90 points for all wines presented.

CUVÉE DE CAROL 2014 Gran Reserva Brut Nature Bright golden color, with aromas of fine lees, toiletry herbs, characterful, ripe fruit, and dried fruits. Powerful, flavorful, good acidity, fine bubbles, subtle bitterness. 94 points.
BLANCA CUSINÉ 2014 Gran Reserva Brut Nature Pale yellow color, with aromas of ripe fruit, withered flowers, expressive, frank, fine lees. Flavorful, balanced, long, easy to drink. 93 points.
ROSA CUSINÉ 2019 Gran Reserva Brut Nature Clear cherry color, bright, with aromas of fresh fruit, red fruit, floral, elegant, expressive, frank. Good acidity, balanced, subtle bitterness. 92 points.
PARÉS BALTÀ HISTORIC 2018 Gran Reserva Brut Nature Bright yellow color, with aromas of sweet spices, bakery, yeast notes, dried flowers. Balanced and long on the palate. 92 points.
SATÈL·LIT 2019 Cariñena Blanca. Bright yellow color, powerful aroma, creamy oak, spicy, toasted caramel, toasted bread, white fruit. Oily, structured, long, toasted, subtle bitterness. 93 points.
ELECTIO 2021 Xarel·lo de viñedos viejos. Bright yellow color, aroma of ripe fruit, spicy, fruity expression, white fruit, dried fruits. Flavorful, fruity, structured, some persistence, toasted. 92 points.
CALCARI 2022 Xarel·lo. Bright straw color, medium intensity aroma, frank. Tense on the palate, subtle bitterness. 90 points.
RADIX 2022 Syrah. Intense cherry color, with aromas of wild herbs. Herbal, ripe, flavorful, wild, fruity, and rustic style. 90 points.
HISENDA MIRET 2021. Garnacha tinta. Cherry color, balsamic aroma, mountain herbs, wax, black fruit, black licorice. Spicy, balsamic, good acidity. 92 points.
MARTA DE BALTÀ 2018. Syrah. Intense cherry color, aroma of ripe fruit, dried herbs, creamy oak, sweet spices. Powerful, ripe fruit, spicy, ripe tannins, some persistence, smoky aftertaste. 92 points.
ALL PARÉS BALTÀ WINES ARE CHARACTERIZED BY MINIMAL INTERVENTION
At Parés Baltà, both in the vineyard and in the winery, we follow the philosophy of minimal intervention because we believe that the less we intervene or manipulate the fruit given to us by nature, the more authenticity we will obtain from them and consequently, from our wines. Our goal is to give the spotlight to the vineyard and its varieties, far beyond the different oenological processes we can apply in the winery.
In the winery, we work with:
- Minimum use of added sulfites, below the most demanding regulations of organic wines. Sulfites are antioxidants and antimicrobials, and yeasts metabolize a small amount that does not exceed the maximum of 10 mg/l.
- We do not use any type of chemical additive to stabilize or maintain the wine.
- Wine stabilization by cold.
- Minimal clarification and always with products of plant origin.
- Minimum filtering and only when necessary.
- Use of containers that do not alter or hide the characteristics of the wine, such as ceramic amphoras, glass demijohns, stainless steel tanks.
